Computer technician

NEW YORK – A computer technician for a company contracted to do work for schools in Long Island pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography.

Ryan Ramdass Queens Village pleaded guilty Friday to promoting sexual performance of a child.

The employer Ramdass worked for schools in Levittown. A spokesman for the Queens DA said there was no indications of any images were children in the district.

A search warrant in May 2013 from the house of Ramdass found thousands of videos and images of child pornography on his laptop and external hard drives.

Queens Supreme Court Dorothy Chin-Brandt said she will condemn Ramdass February to June years in prison on January 8.

Defense lawyer Peter Brill said his client takes responsibility for his actions and wants to move.
